Player Profile
Mark Summers was another late signing to the squad but made his presence known as he made a late charge to take the golden boot at the end of the season. Despite never breaking out of his lethargic Sunday League mentality, Summers established himself as a frequent starter to the front 3 last season. Being a local lad (Cheshunt) Marvin was keen to keep Mark for this season and managed to do so when he signed early in the pre-season build up. His pace gets the better of most defenders however he doesn’t like to run. Mark has recently been seen by an external physio who has diagnosed his knee injury to be caused by the weight of his work boots. We are pleased to see him back in training and playing even if he does cheat his way out of some exercises.
