The week got off to a flying start when The Blues travelled to Tring on Tuesday. The first goal was so quick that a number of fans missed it as they were either still in the bar or trying to find somewhere to park. Luckily for those fans, the Blues went on to score another 2 times. Spirits were high around the ground following the 3-1 win. For the match report and player stats, please see the match page.

Tuesday night also saw the Development Team welcome Colney Heath to The Park for the Development Division Challenge Trophy Semi-Final. While Colney Heath were the first to score, the boys fought back and thanks to goals from Steve Tutalamo and Mason Todd, ended the night the 2 – 1 winners. The club is very proud of the boys for making it to the final. Keep an eye on the website so you can keep the day free. These boys have earned all of our support.

A very busy footballing weekend started on Saturday. While the groundsmen were nervously watching the snow, fans around Hertford were putting on all the clothes they own in order to stay warm. The first match of the weekend saw The Blues welcome Biggleswade United to The Park. They are always tough opposition and even though the lads battled hard, Biggleswade were the ones celebrating at full time as the 2 – 0 winners. Losing is part of football and the fans will be out in force to cheer on their team when they face Hoddesdon Town on Valentine’s Day. Click here for photos and player stats.

The Development Team also had a snowy game on Saturday when they travelled to Winslow United. It was a tough game but the boys worked hard and won 1 – 0. They have a very happy gaffa this week:
