This week, the action started with our Development Team travelling to St Margaretsbury for their next league game on Tuesday. A local derby is always exciting and while the boys were disappointed to draw 2-2, the point did move them to the top of the league! They were back to their winning ways on Saturday, when away at Harpenden Town, they won 3-1 in the wet and gloomy conditions. To track their progress in the league, click here. All of their results to date can also be found here.

The torrential rain didn’t dampen The Blues spirit when they welcomed Colney Heath to The Park on Saturday. While the weather was better suited to ducks, the boys finished the game 7-0 winners in front of 185 screaming fans. It’s not every season that you can give a goal assist to the keeper but even Jayden had a go at goal yesterday!! Click here for the player stats, video and photos from the day.

Prior to the match, both home and away teams united to honour those that lost their lives in the war, in an impeccably observed minute’s silence

Lest We Forget

Sunday was a very busy day for Hertford Town. Both EJA teams took part in the second round of the Herts County Cup and won! The U13 EJAs won 1-0 away at Heybridge Swifts while at home, the U14 EJA team put 11 past Cassiobury Rangers. For highlights of the U14s game, see below:

Last, but certainly not least for Hertford, an excited Inclusive Team took part in a tournament in Cheshunt. They have been training very hard on Saturdays and we are incredibly proud of them all for their joint 3rd finish:

It was an important weekend for our associated club Stevenage Ladies who took part in the Women’s FA Cup against Cambridge United. While they battled hard, they unfortunately will not progress to the next round after a 3-0 loss.
