On Saturday we welcome Micky Hazard’s Hadley FC to The Park for the preliminary round of The Emirates FA Cup.
With two wins out of two in the league including two clean sheets, Gavin Kelsey’s boys in blue will be brimming with confidence with their start to the season going into this encounter with our friends from the Spartan Premier League.
With attendances exceeding all expectations so far this season, we’ll be hoping for another packed and noisy stadium come kick-off on Saturday afternoon at 3pm. Come along and make some noise!
Yesterday, we erected our new media tower to overlook the pitch from opposite the main stand. This will be used to record live video footage of 1st team games providing both analysis for the the coaching team and highlights for all our loyal fans post-match.
Mark Summers is back from suspension, Tommy Wade has scored three in his last two games, two clean sheets against tough opposition in Hoddesdon and Leighton Town and the gaffa has very nearly a fully fit squad from which to pick his starting 11. The pitch is getting better and better each week and our volunteers are working tirelessly to make Hertingfordbury Park the very best it can be and THE place to be on a Saturday afternoon.
Should be an interesting match…
Should The Blues prevail, we’ll face the winners of the Desborough Town or London Colney fixture at home on Saturday, the 3rd of September.
Saturday also sees the next round of our B’LOTTO. There is a £600 rollover so make sure that you are there so you can be in it to win it.
