Following on from last weekend’s stunning 3-1 derby victory over the then league-leaders, Hoddesdon Town, The Blues continued in similar fashion at The Park this Saturday, beating a stubborn London Tigers 3-2 courtesy of yet another hat-trick from Louis Rose.
Louis’s 31st goal of the season consolidated Hertford Town’s 4th place in the league as most of the other contenders in and among the chasing pack faltered.
The Blues began without Jordan Watson and Kardan Campbell but welcomed back Harry Ricketts between the sticks following a recent illness. Things didn’t immediately go to plan with the Tigers’ skipper opening the scoring in the 1st half but the lads persevered and took all three points thanks to Lou’s 4th treble of the season.

The B’Lotto draw also took place post-match and the lucky numbers were 7 and 9. As nobody selected these two decisive digits, next month’s draw will be another big rollover!
Meanwhile, birthday-boy, Joe Pearce was voted Player Of The Month for March and happily accepted his award from another lad celebrating his birthday, Matt “Chopper” Harris!
Next up for The Blues is yet another trip to Berko on Tuesday night followed by a home tie at The Park next Saturday when we entertain Cockfosters FC. Kick-off will be at the familiar and traditional time of 3pm.
