The Blues added another point to their Premier League tally on Saturday drawing 2-2 with Harefield Utd. Hertford Town should probably have taken all three points after 1st half goals from Leigh Rose and Adam Lawton sent The Blues into the half-time break with a comfortable 2-0 lead. The woodwork denied the home side on two separate occasions as fate seemed to favour the visitors. Harefield Utd believed that they had taken the lead early in the first half but were correctly denied by the linesman’s offside decision following a lengthy consultation with the matchday referee. ‘Town conceded two sloppy goals in the 2nd half but the late push in the final 10mins ultimately failed to provide The Stable End faithful with a winner with Antonio Fusco, Leigh Rose and Kardan Campbell all going close.
In other news, our newest centurions, TJ and Bradley Fraser were presented with bubbly by Mr Chairman following the game to mark their 100th appearances for the club.
