We’re well into pre-season here at The Park and the players are getting stronger and faster with every training session and every minute of friendly game time.

We have a very busy day on Saturday so if you fancy coming along and getting your face on TV, our schedule will run like this . . .

10:30am to 12:00pm – Inclusive Football training session on the Westfield training area with Mudlarks and Live A Little. Disabled adults of all ages and all abilities will be trained by Reece Ives, Karl Howford & Ray Tomkins with a friendly match to end the session. All are welcome to come along and cheer as the goals go in!

12:30pm to 2:30pm The FA will be sending a camera crew to film Bengeo Tigers youth teams playing exhibition matches on the main pitch due to their recent success in both the national & regional awards for youth football. The edited video will then be screened during the FA Community Shield game between Arsenal and Chelsea at Wembley in August. Get to The Park early, show the nation what football means to Hertford and maybe even get your face on TV!

3:00pm to 5:00pm Hertford Town vs Hanwell Town (Ryman North) The Blues continue their preparations for the coming season with a home friendly against tough opposition. Players will be keen to impress and cement their place in the squad so expect a pacy game with lots of goals!

A special Greek BBQ will be cooking up some scrummy treats in addition to the usual excellent fare from the clubhouse provided courtesy of Shelagh’s Meals. Audrey’s bar will be also open from 12:00pm providing refreshments and we’ll have some music to entertain you throughout the day. The Emirates Cup featuring Arsenal, Lyon, Wolfsburg & Villareal will be on our big screens from 1:30pm too!

Entry before 1:30pm is free, admission after 1:30pm will be £3 for adults, £1 for concessions and free for all those lucky enough to be under 18.

Following the game we will be doing the monthly B’LOTTO draw which is now a ROLLOVER of £400!!
