Saturday’s 2-1 home win over Cockfosters was witnessed by a league record of 559 fans smashing our current SSML record of 411 against Enfield back in 2004/5 and boosted by our friends at Bengeo Tigers who had superbly organised a fundraising charity day in support of Mudlarks Community Gardens and Kids With Cancer UK. Over £1000 was raised on the day and will be split between the two charities as all of the gate money was generously donated by the club.

Bengeo Tigers were well represented by their U-7’s, U-8’s & U-9’s teams during the pre-match exhibition games plus the U-10’s girls team who led the Hertford Town team out as matchday mascots. Huge thanks to Karl Howford, John McNiff, Damian Turner, Alistair Day, Peter Chapman, Amy Martin and Zoe Martin as well as everyone from Bengeo Tigers who made this special day possible!

We really hope to see some of them back in the noisy Stable End at The Park next Saturday when we welcome local rivals St.Margaretsbury on derby day to add to our famous atmosphere to cheer the lads on to another victory. Goals in either halves firstly from skipper, Tommy Wade (22) & Jordan Watson (68) put the result to bed before an injury-time consolation from the visitors.

Please visit the match page for the stats, photos and check out what a groundhopper thought of our club here.

Hi there, lots of references here to a’record breaking’ crowd- is that for a league/cup competitive match? When I was a kid Spurs used to come up for a pre-season friendly match, with Hoddle, Ardiles, Archibald, Crooks, Mabbutt et al – many of whome lived around here – and we used to get a couple of thousand literally through the gate….this happened at least twice in the early 80s/late 70s.

Anyway well done on the charity day, got a good write up in the paper. Hope it encourages more local support, the club deserves it. was good to be back home on Saturday for St Margaretsbury or whoever they were, shame about the result, but me and my lads had a fun afternoon nonetheless.
