After weeks of dreadful weather, fans of both sides pulled together to watch a great local derby which Hertford Town FC won 2-0.

See the match page for the pictures, match report, stats and line-up.

A massive thanks must go to Hatfield Town who decided to treat the game as a cup fixture and donated half of the gate money to our club to help us with the damage caused by the floods.

We are also most grateful to thank the following people (amongst others) for their kind donations too:

Jane Sartin
Jewsons (sand for flood defences)
Mark and Bethany on behalf of the Cardiff FC boycott supporters
And finally, the local farmer who donated the use of his pumping equipment to help drain the pitch

It is wonderful how people pull together at this level.
